The first flight of Somon Air has landed at Zhukovsky

On September 20, Somon Air carried out the first flight on the route Dushanbe-Zhukovsky-Dushanbe. At 21:45, Boeing 737-900 with 170 passengers on board made a soft landing on the longest in Europe runway at Zhukovsky airport. An hour later the liner went back to the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan. Flights to Dushanbe will be carried out 3 times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Commenting on the launch of the new direction, CEO of "RAMPORT AERO" Thomas Vaishvila said: "I congratulate the airline Somon Air on the first flight to our airport! From that moment, Zhukovsky had a new aviation partner. We will do our best to make all airport services convenient for the passengers. We are ready to offer our main advantages: speed of service, ease navigation and high priority of all operations. I am confident that in the future our cooperation will grow and expand!"

"Somon Air" is pleased to cooperate with the Zhukovsky International Airport. The opening of this route is the creation of new opportunities not only for both sides, but for passengers, first of all. We are confident that this is the beginning of a long and successful cooperation, which will be aimed at such key factors in civil aviation as safety of flights, high service and passenger comfort, "said Thomas V. Hallam, CEO of Somon Air.

Next week the second direction of the airline will be launched: on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays "Somon Air" will fly on the route "Kulyab - Zhukovsky - Kulyab".
