Passenger traffic of Zhukovsky International Airport continues to grow

The passenger traffic of Zhukovsky International Airport continues to increase. In July 2018, 122,000 passengers took advantage of the airport's services, 22,000 more than a month ago. Compared with the same period last year, passenger traffic grew more than 3 times. The number of monthly take-off and landing operations over the past year increased from 315 to 758.

Commenting on the result, Thomas Vaishvila, CEO of "RAMPORT AERO", said: "For the first half of 2018, the airport served more passengers than the full year before, and the figures continue to grow. This clearly indicates that the demonstrated growth is not accidental and is not related to transport services for mass events, for example, the completed World Cup. We are on the right track and are going to continue the movement, offering passengers ample opportunities for traveling at affordable prices. Zhukovsky is a modern and comfortable airport, and we do our best to make it convenient for passengers. For example, the time from the entrance to the terminal, before boarding the plane isn’t more than 30 minutes for our passengers. We value the time of our customers!"

Zhukovsky continues to actively develop the international and domestic route network. In July two new directions appeared in the airport schedule. Pegas Fly opened a flight to Taiyuan - the sixth route to China. The airline Ural Airlines began regular flights to the westernmost regional center of Russia - Kaliningrad.
